My mom came down for spring break and we had a lot of fun. We did a lot of driving, but still had a lot of fun. We drove up to visit Pattie and Tim, ok, maybe the trip wasn't just to see Pattie and TIm, but we did need to meet our renters and make sure they were ok. So after we picked my mom up from the airport in Jacksonville we drove to Shalimar. We played a litle Wii. Hadn't ever seen it before. Was lots of fun.
then we drove down to Gainesville dropped off Jeff and Mom and I drove down to Orlando and went to Animal Kingdom. The next night my girlfriend and her mom came down and we went to Universal. I would have to say I had the most fun while we were at the hotel "sampling" wine.So I'm lucky enough to be going to class with a bunch of girls who have never heard of Pampered Chef before and were very excited to come to my party. I had a $600 party on Friday night and now I get $115 worth of free Pampered Chef stuff. The whole reason I had the party was so I could get a pizza stone, but I ended up with a lot more than that. The girls are addicted now and there are at least two of them who want to have a party.
We are coming up on midterms and things are getting really busy. We are almost done with disection. We will be doing the pelvic disection next week. Thank goodness I didn't get assigned that special disection. Gross. There is a lady in the lab that is so big you have to pick up her vajayjay and move it so you can look at her abdomin. Speaking of giant vajayjays I need to pack my bag to go to the gym tomorrow.
I am still running almost every morning. I try and get in between 4 & 5 miles 5 days a week. I think I'll do a track workout tomorrow. I haven't done speed work in a while.
Jeff and my new favorite show is Top Gear on BBC. These crazy Brits do some crazy stuff with cars and they are freakn' hilarious.
Gotta run. Need to make my lunch for tomorrow too. Here is a picture of me and Coral napping on the couch. I have never slepped so good. I made this chocolate banana pudding for desert during the superbowl. And here is Coral drooling over a Miller Light.
...PrefonTina (get it...because I like to run and I'm a girl). Let me know if I need to go into more details (Michelle and Diane).
ANYWAYS, I just got my anatomy quiz grade and I got a 98/100. WOO HOO!!!!!! The highest grade I have ever received. I'm so excited. I just treated myself to another glass of wine.
BTW - we were suppose to do the Valentine's card today, but goofy me I forgot the ink pad. DUH! Take 2 tomorrow.
...I had to scrap a card for my girlfriends to make tomorrow. I think it came out really well. I hope Jeff doesn't look at my blog because I'm giving it to him. I'm taking Neuroscience this semester and you talk about a load of information. I knew the brain was complicated, but I didn't realize the anatomy of the brain was so intense. We are learning to look at the brain the same way MRIs collect information. It is really hard to translate a 3D object into two dimensions. I haven't heard about my quiz yet. Getting ready to study some Exercise Physiology and Examination & Evaluation. Oooohh so much fun to be had. Did you guys watch American Idol on Wednesday? There was a girl who fies C-17 at Charleston who was on it. She went to the Academy for a couple of years, but quit and then went ROTC. She was engaged to a friend of ours until he called it off. Enough rambling, just wanted to know if anyone saw it. She sang pretty good but she sounded really nervous and didn't make it to the next round. Too bad! Simon was actually nice to her...probably because she didn't act like a freak.
Ok, here's the picture.
Well, I asked Jeff the other day if he noticed a "trend" before we moved from Shalimar to Gainesville and guess what...he had no clue what was going on. All that work for nothing. I don't know what that proves...1)Jeff isn't a dog 2) Jeff doesn't think about anything after he gets home from work 3) The reward was not worth coming home before 6pm. WTF!
Did you guys notice that changed, "Compose" to "Create" when you want to make a new entry? It is a good thing they did that. Everything is much clearer now. Whatever!
1st Anatomy quiz of the semester tomorrow. Should be studying, but I need a break.
BTW - a girl that went to the Academy was on American Idol tonight. She is a pilot in the AF and flies C-17s. She didn't make it past the first round, but she still sang pretty good. Too bad! Stupid, Paula A.
I was wearing my Scooby scrubs the other day and a lady in the elevator commented that she liked my scrubs. Without thinking I told her I'm a Scooby Girl. Crazy! There was something else I wanted to tell you, but now I forgot. I am getting into the show Monk. It is pretty cute. I can relate to him in a lot of ways. The other day I threw away half a graham cracker because there was an uneven number (I need two to make my smores). Does this make me weird?
SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW...MAKE THE NIGHTMARES STOP!!!!!! For the past three nights I have had dreams about being late to class, wearing the wrong thing to class (Coral was so gracious as to follow me around in that dream) and moving to a different city than the school I am going to. That dream was really weird because we moved to El Crapo, but when I woke Jeff up and asked him where we were and we looked out the window we were back at the Academy and the dorms were out our front door. Creepy! I can't wait to see what I dream about tonight. I'm going to have to set two different alarms to make sure I get up in time. I don't know why I'm being so "retarted" about this. I've been doing this for four months already. I guess some things never change.
Here are some pictures of Jeff and I's new favorite toys. I liked the Green Machine, but liked the Rip Stick A LOT better. The Rip STick is like a skate board except it has two caster wheels on it and if you get doing right you don't need to push off the ground to get going. Check out the video.
Jeff and Billy make this thing look so easy. My hip flexors were so sore the next day and I probably should have had a helmet, wrist guards, knee pads, butt pads and everything else padded, but I had a blast. I could sure use one of these during my 15 minute study breaks.
These are pictures of him sneaking into the Christmas box before we started opening presents. What a turd!
